Could be a number of things, but if you repaired it carefully, and are fairly confident you didn't damage anything and nothing else is broken, it is probably a poorly seated ribbon cable.

I used SCXML as a standard way of representing workflow in a project some time ago. At the time, using the fledgling Apache SCXML engine was not an option. Now I'm starting a project to revise and expand the original project's deliverables. I decided to look into replacing my quick-and-dirty PHP class for processing SCXML with the Apache (or other engine).

While not difficult, getting the Apache StopWatch example working took awhile -- finding dependencies, downloading, installing, and figuring out where to place resources the app needed was tedious.
